Hotel Appeal
Delivering Small High-Quality to Our Guests
We offer a refined hotel experience that is more than just a place to stay.
Thoughtful "attention to detail" to delight our guests
"Local ingredients" focusing on local production for health and taste
"Design" inspired by the creativity of artists
A "spirit" that values the history and tradition of Himeji Castle Town
At Claire Higasa, we breathe life into these subtle yet profound qualities, creating a "small high-quality"
experience.
The harmony between your hotel stay and our "small high-quality" philosophy creates a truly comfortable
experience.
Philosophy
We are a personal hotel that offers a "stay in the city" experience, allowing guests to live as if they were
residents of Himeji.
Unlike chain business hotels, we treat the entire city as the "inn" and provide a lodging experience that
allows guests to immerse themselves in the local culture and way of life.
Following the spirit of our founder, Tome Hara, we aim to maintain the traditional Japanese ryokan style
while continuously evolving to meet the needs of modern society.
The theme of the hotel is "Small High-Quality" and "High-Sense Design with Himeji Charm."
We incorporate decor that reflects the breath of local Himeji artists, providing a sensory experience that
cannot be found in chain hotels.
Our hospitality is centered on being attentive to the needs of our guests, providing genuine, heartfelt
service that goes beyond the manual.
Hospitality
We pursue the concept of "personal service." Instead of providing standardized services based on manuals, we focus on offering personalized services tailored to each guest. We observe our guests to understand their needs and aim to provide hospitality that makes them feel truly welcome, just as we would like to be treated ourselves. While most companies tend to prioritize cost-cutting measures, we challenge ourselves to face this difficulty head-on and maintain high-quality service.
Comfortable Rooms
Our rooms are designed with a focus on safety, cleanliness, and comfort, featuring warm and calming decor.
We have introduced Airweave bedding to provide the highest quality sleep, making it ideal for business
travelers who want to wake up refreshed.
We create dishes based on the concept of 'Himeji Cuisine,' where the flavors are nurtured by the local environment.
We are committed to being an environmentally conscious hotel, and this extends to the ingredients we use.
We focus on using locally sourced ingredients from Mikata Town in Hyogo Prefecture, including rice grown by
Yoshida, whose rice won a Special Excellence Award at the International Rice Taste Analysis Contest. Our
approach is based on the philosophy of "mind and body in harmony with nature."
For breakfast, we prepare dishes that emphasize the natural flavors of the ingredients, providing guests
with a taste of the local region without relying on excessive oils or fats.
Convenient Location
Our hotel is located just a 10-minute walk from Himeji Castle and a 5-minute walk from JR Himeji Station,
making it ideal for both sightseeing and business trips.
The area where our hotel is located, the Jonan district, was once part of the outer enclosure of Himeji
Castle and was a hub of commerce and education, with the Saigoku Kaido road running east to west.
Today,
the area remains one of the busiest downtown areas in Harima, filled with independently run restaurants.
Additionally, there are numerous historical sites and landmarks around Claire Higasa, making it an
excellent area for a leisurely stroll to explore the rich history.
Gallery &
Art Culture
At Claire Higasa, we offer a unique gallery space filled with works that reflect the essence of Himeji.
It is a space where you can feel the spirit of Himeji's artists.
As a personal hotel in Himeji Castle Town, Claire Higasa has collaborated with many local artists to create
the interior of the hotel. You will find their works displayed throughout the hotel.
During your stay, why not discover a favorite piece of art?
